Sisterhood

This project was part of the visual component for my M.F.A. Thesis for Savannah College of Art and Design.

Women in popular culture have been constantly portrayed as mistrustful and competitive, and their storylines revolve around the men they are with. This narrative has impacted how teenagers perceive other women and how they act around them. With more space for women telling their own stories, these stereotypes are changing. This series supports these new narratives and focuses on the positive aspects of sisterhood.
